The Democrats Are on Our Block — Let’s Get to Work
The New York State Democratic Committee has opened a temporary campaign office right here in the neighborhood at 2740 Broadway (at 105th Street) — the former Silver Spoon Bakery — and they need us.
With such a short time to go before the general election on November 3rd, the NY Dems are launching a Weekends of Action canvass in Morningside Heights and the Upper West Side. Volunteers will be walking the neighborhood, talking with local voters about what’s on the ballot and how to stay engaged through Election Day.
This is exactly the kind of boots-on-the-ground effort that wins elections.
