Special Election Announcement
There is a Special Election for State Senate District 47, which runs roughly from West 14th Street up to West 103rd Street on the West Side. The seat was previously held by Brad Hoylman-Sigal, who was sworn in as Manhattan Borough President earlier this year.
The Democratic candidate in this race is Erik Bottcher, who is a WSD-endorsed candidate.
